At SYMPOSIUM, providing Great Coffee, Great Food, Great Service to our community is at the heart of everything we do. Our local community has been an incredible source of support for us over the last 15 years, and we love giving that support back where we can.
One way we endeavour to do this is by using locally sourced ingredients wherever we can. When building up our brilliant new menu, which will be launching next year, we thought it was a great opportunity to integrate some new local produce into what we offer. This week, we want to shine a spotlight on of our brilliant local suppliers.
The History of Ugie Samon Fishings
We source our fish from the ugie smoked salmon fish house. The fish house was originally built in 1585, on the banks of the River Ugie right here in Peterhead. The fish house now supplies the highest quality smoked salmon to hotels and restaurants across the UK and Europe, as well as selling their products to the public from their online store.

Our New Menu
You’ll be able to try out some Ugie Smoked Salmon as part of our new menu. Why not go for one of our smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, or try a fresh avocado and smoked salmon salad – yum!
